Snowy Mountains Kosciuszko 4WD Tour Highlights

The Snowy Mountains Kosciuszko 4WD Tour is an all day tour of approximately 8 hours. During our day we visit the best and most scenic places the Snowy Mountains has to offer. Traveling in a 4WD we have the unique opportunity to go off-road along otherwise inaccessible tracks and trails. We travel across rivers and streams stopping at some of the famous historic Kosciuszko huts which were once used by cattlemen in the early 1900’s.

When we get to the Geehi river we can picnic and stop and view the famous Geehi hut, and with a bit of luck, kangaroos and emus can be seen.

One of our favorite spots is Olsens lookout due to the majestic views of the Snowy Mountains
main ranges.

At Scammells Spur we can view the western face of the Australian Alps. This lookout was built for
the Queen of England in 1961 so she could fully appreciate the beauty of the Snowy Mountains Alps.
